Rube Goldberg Project

Post 1: Decision-Making

For the Rube Goldberg Project, I decided that I wanted to work in a group for two reasons: (1) we would develop more ideas and (2) it would be fun to do it with my friends. I choose my group (Sam, Cyrus and Brian) because I knew I would get along with them. I have worked with Cyrus and Sam in another project (Podcast) and we respected each others ideas.

Our group decided to work at my house because I have no siblings to disturb us. My house is close to school so we can easily come after school to work. Also, Sam is allergic to cats so we could not work at Cyrus’s house as he has a cat.

For our first meeting, we decided we needed a couple of cardboard so we could do our first sketch.  In preparation for our first meeting, I watch a couple of You Tube videos such as “The Lemonade Machine” and “Ok This Too Shall Pass Rule Goldberg Machine.”
