Truss Bridges

Today, I finished my truss bridge project. I compared my truss bridge to a cube. A cube easily fell because its angles are not locked in. When I tested the cube by putting a notebook on top of it, I saw the cube change shape into a parrelagram and crumpled like it was supposed to. However, my truss bridge was able to hold a notebook and a book for a while before it started to fall.  My truss bridge had eight triangles. I learned that the angles of the triangles are locked in because of it’s opposite side. I think I could have made the truss bridge bigger to make it stronger.
