This summer is going to be different. Usually I would be at camp and not at home. This year I will have a lot more time playing baseball, reading books, and hanging out with my siblings. I plan on going to a sailing day camp so that I can get better at sailing and I have art of problem solving math classes. I feel that this summer can be extremely productive.

I am extremely disappointed in the way that there is still racial problems. Police should not be using the the power that they have in this way. That is abuse of power. I believe that these events itself should make our president do something but no. To get attention rioting and protesting must happen. Even then, the president decides to tear gas everyone for a photo. I stand by protesting peacefully as a way to get what we want but I don’t like the looting. People are taking advantage of the situation and are making money off of it while giving the protesters a bad name. I also don’t like the brick throwing and the other violence. I believe that the people who think that whites are better than colored people should keep it to themselves and not go and kill and torture people.

If I was throwing away plastics because my town’s recycling won’t take them and then I found out that there is a place that I can take them but it was a lot further away, I would take it there. What I would do is get a humongous stash, and take it has one big pile instead of multiple tinier ones that I do for trash. Extra energy would be required be we would have to go to that place and drop it off. We also have to remember to go and drop it off.

The materials that I am looking at are a wide variety of types of plastics. They range from almost hard as rock to something I like to drink in. I think that certain types of plastics are used differently then other because they all are different. The way the plastic is being made is much different so naturally the way they are used is a lot different. A milk industry uses high density polyethylene to make it so that it is strong enough to hold the milk but light enough to carry. It is durable and weather resistant making sure the milk does not get ruined by outside things. It is recyclable and reusable, that means it can be reused. We would not use another type of plastic there because it cannot satisfy does needs.

To build something is to make something out of basically nothing or something that has no purpose. I have built something before. It was at my first sleep away camp, I made a small(a really small one) out of wood. It was extremely exciting. The process of building something is very fun. I did it alone which basically allowed me to make the decisions and the mistakes would be on me. I brought it home but I wasn’t really going to use it so it was just wasting space. My sister painted it and we gave it to my baby cousin for her birthday. I never actually took a picture of it but I still remember each day I spent trying to make it. I would love to build more things but I don’t have the tools, the skill, or the supplies to build anything.
