This week was really fun so far. The light switches are my favorite part of tech, with the catapults coming in second. I like the light switches more because we get to paint them, saw them, and put them together ourselves. I think that tech should stay the same for next quarter.
Tech week # 7
Building the electroscope was super fun. I found it even more fun to test is out and see how static electricity works.
Tech week #8
Doing circuits was really fun. I really liked making and experimenting with the breadboard and wires.
Tech week #4
Building the catapults was probably the most fun project so far. Instead of the simple one, I went for the complicated one. It was hard to build, but I made it, with some extra upgrades. For instance, I made it shoot twice as far. It was really fun and complicated
Tech week #3
This week was very fun. For my truss, I took the basic cube, and made reinforcements on the outside with supports. It was able to hold up 5 books. I thought it would hold much less.
Tech week #2
Building the beams was very fun. My favorite part was testing them. So i had about 15 books and obviously, the I – beam could hold them. But surprisingly, my beam that I made myself could too. It was bending a lot, but it was strong enough.
Tech week #1
This week, me and my sister Rowen built an igloo. It was big enough to fit both of us inside it. It had a chair going into it with a wall, and three other tunnels as entrances and exits. Here’s how to build it.
1. Make a big pile of snow
2. Carve out two holes to meet in the middle. It should look like a tunnel.
3. Have fun with it and build expansions, new rooms, and tunnels.

Computer science is changing everything.
From the video, I found the lettuce bot really interesting. They said that the lettuce bot could plant around 5 million seeds and detected the environment. The man who created the lettuce bot said it was all really expensive and that because of computer science, they could make it the same quality for cheaper. Computer science is changing everything and probably will as long as technology is around. And obviously, its for our benefit.
