so I had some conflicts while building partially because i zone out sometimes but i tried really hard not to. Anyways first my box kept bending and also when i was putting the right angle triangles in i put it on the outside rather then inside so 3 were in the inside but 1 wasn’t.
Automata
We have been working on automatas for some time now. It was very hard to make but i did it and love how it came out, i put an Elmo on top well actually it is just red Pom poms and black Pom Poms but its cute, it actually lopsided to but i still love him.
TECH
tech has been supper fun. I am gonna be supper sad to leave this place. I’m doing blog posts today and making stuff out of sticks!
soldering
Soldering is very scary but exciting at the same time. You have a 900 degree solder iron that heats up. I then held it too what i wanted to be soldered, then i took a long pice of the solder metal so I wouldn’t get burned, and held it there it melted so fast and was so cool to see. It took me a few try’s to get mine right. Then you had to wipe if with a wet sponge and that is how you solder.
Bread boards
bread boards are where circuits are prototyped. In tech we learned how to use one. Fist you put your lightbulb put the Anode also know as the positive in one of the side lines. Then take the negative and put it on its side. Then add jumper cables, next connect to the light bulb. Change one to only be in on one side, take alligator clips and connect to it, then you can check your circuit.

hi. This is a video of me using this machine. I used it to cut prices of cardboard to make a switch. It is a very cool machine to use. You put the cardboard on an angle and then turn the machine on. It doesn’t move but it goes up and down about 180 times a minute!
CIRCUITS
The past two days we have been making online circuits. They are really cool. It was interesting to see what we could use to make it possible. The goal was to make a lightbulb light up. But problems could occur like fire or it just not working. I ended up getting it to work and now i just get to experiment plus it is really fun!!!
Atoms
recently in technology class we have been learning about atoms. I was really shocked to see and hear so many things about them that i never knew. To be honest i never really knew what a atom was. This also was the best time to learn this because we also just recently learned about atoms and forces in science class so they both tie together. It helped because we also had a science test about forces and motion and forces and motion is connected to atoms so as i was learning in tech which also helped me in science.

Capstone reflection
Capstone is almost finished and I have so much to say about it. This experience has been great and I learned so much that I did not know. On Monday we presented for the first time. A few class’s came in and watched but different people preformed for each class. I was with our buddy class and another class in that grade. When I preformed I could feel myself getting nervous. But then looked at my teacher and looked at my friends and that helped me calm down. When I was preforming I sometime’s looked down at my card even though I did not need them, I don’t know why I did it, I just did. Then I started getting nervous so I skipped over some parts, but it was okay because it was subtle so nobody noticed. Then was the time the parents came to see them. I was in the auditorium with a few other people. I had a shirt that was from Dylan’s Candy Bar and wore it. The biggest thing I learned was there is way way way more to the brand then just the product,I knew that there was a brand behind the product but I did’t know how many people it took or how hard and complicated it is. I also learned that i really like food, I had really good experience with performing and I am supper happy how it turned out.

Graphic Novel
In class we have been reading and writing graphic novels. We started by a reading teacher named Mr.Debarry coming in every week and talking to us about graphic novels. Then reading them with our book clubs and taking notes. We did that for quite some time. Then our teacher said that we were going to be writing one. After that, ideas just kept on flowing through my head. Then I came up with the idea I came up with. I started drawing and coming up with the story as I went along. This was not working. I am not a very good drawer so this was so hard for me. I decided that I was going to write the story first and then the drawings. The process was long and hard. I went through many pieces of paper and broke many tips of pencils. But I am supper happy and proud of what it turned out to be hope you enjoy.
