on This week was a big one, because it was the last week of workshop days. For these few days, I finished soldering my wires to my LED and switch, I created by holes in the PVC caps, and I decorated my light. When I finished, I gave it a few test run and changed up the decoration. It turned out awesome in the end!
on This week, we finished learning more about our purpose and we started creating out designs. I had wanted by design to be simple like a standard flashlight. I just wanted a strait pipe with a switch on one end and the LED light on the other. By the end of the week. I had already finished getting my measurements and cutting my pipe!
on This week, we started our flashlight projects. Mr. Calvert taught is a lot about LED lights and the purpose if these designs. Basically, we were going to make these for divers who were going on a mission to save kids who got stuck in a cave. While the purpose wasn’t authentic and the story took place some time ago, I still got really excited to make these flashlights.
on This is a video of my making my first example of digital art using a reference. I started out simple, but hopefully I can make my own digital art soon.
on My Passion is Digital Art. I chose this because I like designing and working on things digitally. Digital Art is a field of work, too. Another reason I chose this is because there are so many choices online, while in the real world, there is few. For example, digitally, there are tons of brushes, templates, and designs to use while physically, there are fewer resources you can have at one time.
