I finished my Vectornator project and it is amazing. I also finished my flashlight finally, I was kind of slow though. I made a logo from my favorite game it is so cool. My flashlight was not really based off of anything, just a lot of colors. That’s all and thats it, this is my last tech blog post and to be honest I don’t want to make anymore.

In Tech we did finished our flashlights and we started doing a new project as well. I did not finish so I had to go to Mr. Calvert to ask if he could put my circuit in it. In class though we worked on CNC manufacturing. Also I am almost done writing these blogs posts which is kind of good to be honest, I HATE writing them but then it gets kind of fun. So far that’s it but the last one will also be done this week.

In tech we watched a movie/documentary on batteries. It was really cool actually, it was talking about the evolution of the batteries and electrical cars. It also showed cool things when a battery gets destroyed. And the kinds of mental and elements that make a battery. Beside that last week I cut my own piece of a tube also known as how I called it big chugus and mega chugus. It was funny and that is all that has happened so far :).

This week we were working on waterproof flashlights. So far mine is ok, but I had to restart  like 3 times on my draft. But now I have almost finished the draft and ready to get wires. I also get my  new backpack today, finally. It was shipped to Maine yesterday. And today I get it and I’ll finish my draft for the flashlight during tech.

TODAY IS THE DAY. I AM GETTING MY MOUSE. YESSSSS. Ok so today I am getting my mouse which will make my life so much easier on my computer and it  will be easier to do these posts. Now I also got a book from the book fair and I got a nice book about 9/11. In teach today we did a switch game with all 3 of my switch’s. I found it a bit hard but it was still fun. That’s all that has happened so far.

Today I got my 3-D printing design from Mr. Calvert. I am so happy. Tomorrow  is the S.O. Presidential election  and I don’t know who to vote to be honest. Really nothing has happened that much besides having a math test today so I don’t there is anything more to right. So thats all I got today.

I have been waiting and waiting and waiting for two things. MY DUMB BACKPACK and my 3-D printing design that I am getting tomorrow. I am so hyped. I have also been realizing that middle school is not hard you just got to remember what to do. Like today I realized I forgot something, so I learned that the schools makes us get a planner and gives us Schoology. So I guess I should use that(LIKE DUH I SHOULD). Oh and today, today I finished my pencil keychain for my mom and she was sooooo happy. Well that’s what has happened to me so far this week of 26th of September and the 1st of October.

Circuits, Atoms, Breakouts and more. That’s what happened to me in tech class the past weeks. It was crazy, the class was fun. We were making ring loops made out of wire so it would be stable and not break. The atoms were kinda of cool. We were able to see neutrons being repelled by electrons. Then there is the breakout, it was hard and it taught us about safety. Finally there is the circuits that was also really cool but we have not really got into it yet. That was what happened in tech class so far.

I did it. I was able to answer my main inquiry question “What is the process by which a star can become either a black hole, neutron star, or nebula?” It was actually very simple to answer it.

The simple way of answering it is that the mass determines how it ends up. The process is that to become a Nebula it needs to be a medium mass star and go through a Red Giant stars life to then become a White Dwarf and a cloud of dust called a nebula. Neutron stars and Black Hole’s process is it has to first be a high mass star. But it has to be a Red Supergiant which then ages and collapses on itself and becomes a supernova. After the supernova the star either becomes a Neutron Star or a Black Hole depending on its mass and that makes one of those endings.

Working on the final product was kind of hard. I had to have the voice over match my pictures. Working on my final project did take a while. It took hours of work but I was able to get it done. The work was simple though. I sat in a quiet room and read my script into the microphone and recorded my voice over and then just added the pictures to match it.

In conclusion the process of a stars death determines on mass and working on my video I just needed to concentrate on it and get it done. I think if anyone concentrates on their work they can get it done. If you want to see me final project click the the video below.

The purpose of the  interview is to get to know more about a subject and to ask questions to a person in the subjects field. I felt scared about doing the interview.

I had no clue on who to interview so my mom had to ask people on who to interview so then I emailed the people that were suggested. Because I knew no one my mom freaked out so I ended up having 3 interviews.

My experience in the interview was better than expected because the people I interviewed were really happy to be talking to someone about the topic. Some of the new things I learned are that space and time are connected and that makes Spacetime.

The interview was fun but very scary for me and I think now that I have done a lot of them I feel better and have a lot of research for my project.

I learned about simple machines and that every machine is made of a least one of those machines. The video was hard because I noticed that I had to go back and get things to add to the video. So I had to rebuild the machine. But it was fun doing the project even if it was really hard. I also learned that it is important that I pace my work out.  This is not something that you can rush to complete.  It takes a lot of work and planning.  I will take this experience with me on my next project and for many more projects to come!

It took a while to succeed because the marbles kept not getting into the funnel. So I had to get bottles and cut them so it would stay on path. But everything kept moving. So I had tape everything with clear duck tape. I also had to change my original car because it was way to heavy that the ball would not even make it move, it was so frustrating. The marbles killed me, because they kept going when I was ready.  After everything started to stick and made it easy to do the project.
