We did a lot this week, exploring wood tools in order to start our box. I quickly learned that their was some underlying process that we use to create a project, such as masure, plan, and cut with specific techniques. I’ll walk you through each one. First we had to measure our li, which I learned that I need to give slightly more room for my measurements than normal to account for the blade of the saw. Speaking of saws, I’m very scared of them, but I’m slowly encountering that fear and it becoming less scary. The cutting technique I learned wat hat you have to gently glide3 your hand across the wood with a saw, instead of push down on the saw when you are cutting, I’m assuming that’s because Of the friction. The saw that I uses was pretty floppy:
