How does an air conditioner work?

How does an air conditioner work? I don’t know that’s why we are learning about it today! Let’s hop right into it!!

So an air conditioner sucks the air into itself through little ducts in a vent. The air is used to cool gas in the evaporator, and as heat is removed from the air, it is cooled. Ducts will then blow the air into your house or wherever you want the air To blow into. The process continues until the air inside of where you have he air conditioner reaches the desired temperature.

Here is an explanation of how an air conditioner works a little bit more detailed.

The air conditioner in central heating and cooling provides cool air through the duct inside wherever your air conditioner is by providing a process that draws out the warm air, inside removing the heat. There, the refrigerant turns liquid into vapor, removing any heat from the surrounding air.

Here are the steps of how an air conditioner work

1. The heat from the house is absorbed by the refrigerant.

2. The refrigerant gets hot.

3.  The heat from wherever your air conditioner is transferred outside.

4. The refrigerant will get cool.

That is the really easy to understand way of how an air conditioner works. What did you learn? What do you want to learn? I hope you enjoyed reading this!

How do chargers work??

Almost everyone uses chargers on a daily basis wether it to charge your phone or charge your computer. Most of us don’t really think “How do chargers work,” I know I don’t. Let’s learn all about chargers.

Chargers us e electromagnetic induction to charge batteries. A charging station send electromagnetic energy through inductive coupling to an electric device, which stores energy in the batteries. This is achieved without the need for metal contacts. Between the battery and the charger.

How does a Pulse battery charger work?

When batteries are stored in an uncharged state for an extended period, lead-suffer deposits from and harden on the lead plates inside the battery. Regenerators Send pulses of electric current through the battery, which in some cases may cause the sulfate to flake off the plates and eventually dissolve.

What did you learn about batterie? If you learned a lot and want to learn more feel free yo do some research on your own!

How do batteries work?

Batteries. They charge things what else. I can’t think of anything else, maybe I will just learn about them. I will tell you a few things about them as well! Let’s start learning!

A battery stores chemical energy and turns it into electrical energy. The chemical reactions in a battery involve the flow of electrons from one material (electrode) to another, through an external circuit. The flow of electrons provides an electric current that can be used to do some work.

How does a battery die?

When the active metal in the plates can no longer sustain a discharge current, a battery dies. That is the simple way to put it, but I thought that we were learning today! A car battery would “age” as the active positive plate material sheds due to normal expansion and contraction that occurs during the discharge and charge cycles.

Well that’s all for toDay on batteries did you learn a lot? If you did maybe you want to ask questions and learn more about batteries!

How Air Fryers work

An air Fryer kind of speaks for itself, it fry’s food, right? Yes it does. Today I’m going to have you read all about how air fryers work! Let’s jump on in to it.

An air fryer cover your food in a very thin layer of oil while it circulates the air that can heat up to 200 degrees Celsius. Most air fryers have a temperature and timer adjustments that allows very, very, very, precise cooking. Air fryers have a basket that can fit a good amount of food and it sits on top of a rack.

Air Frey’s don’t actually fry food! The only way food gets cooked is by the machine blowing air onto food and cooking it. An air frying is healthier than frying food in oil. Here is a fun fact anything you can bake is able to air fry in an air fryer.

Well that is all for an air fryer. Hope you learned a lot because I did!

Class notes for November 4

Today we are talking about the seventh simple machine: Gears.

The first gear every made is called Antikythera Mechanism It is a bronze machine with 37 gears that was used to calculate the phases of the moon, eclipses, constellations, and zodiac. I was found in 1992 by sponge divers off of the Greek island of Antikythera.

Gears do everything simple machines do but they are considered the seventh simple machine even Though simple machines are only known for 6 simple machines. Gears change direction of motion. Spur gears are the simplest gears. Spur gears have teeth that are parallel to each other. Spur gears are aloud to have Different numbers of teeth. They also go in opposite directions always.

An Idler gear has three gear that allow a gear to move in the same direction. They make the output gear turn in the same direction as the input gear. The idler gear is going to turn the opposite way.

Gears and levers are cousins.

Mechanical advantage is ratio of system’s output force to it’s input force.         (The amount of work you get out versus the amount of work you put in.The driver gear can be either on top or the bottom.

Well that is it for this blog post on class notes for November 4!!

How do wireless headphone work?

Hmmm wireless headphones that is a really tricky thing to think about. Today we will be reading all about how wireless headphones really work. Caution your brain may hurt after taking in all of this knowledge! Let’s jump right on into this!

Your phone or iPad has a little chip in it that allows the chip in headphones to connect to it so that you can go far distances without have to use annoying wires. The chip is called Bluetooth. Did you learn anything new? I know I did! A radio frequency is transmitted through the air, cool right?

There are two different kinds of wireless “True Wireless,” and just “wireless.” “True Wireless” completely lack a cable or a connector between each of the “True wireless” AirPods. “True Wireless” EarPods or just floating buds in you ear. Over ear headphones are headphones without wires which some people confuse with wireless headphones, they are more commonly know by that name. Wireless headphones look like AirPods but they have a string in The back of you neck that really allows them to be wireless headphones.

Wow I learned the difference between AirPods and wireless headphones. I hope you learned a lot as well.

How do headphones work?

Wow headphones, they seem like such a simple thing. You plug them into your phone or iPad and you listen to music or whatever you need to listen to. Would you believe me if I said there is SO much more to headphones? Let me tell you all about how headphones work!

Well headphones pretty much work the same as speakers but they are the opposite of speakers, but wait headphones have speakers in them. Hmmm that’s weird, let’s move on we need to continue looking at how headphones work! Headphones turn electrical energy into sound by using special magnets to vibrate the air, it’s weird. The digital data is stored in the phone and that is what the headphones use. Kind of simple but a lot of science.

When you plug your headphones into an electrical source a current is pushed into the voice coil that creates an electric magnetic field!

That is all you need to know about headphones for right now. How much did you learn?

How do Microwaves work?

How do microwaves work? Well, I know they heat up food and kill germs but I don’t actually know how they work. Let’s learn all about them!

Food gets heated up in the microwave. Inside of the oven there is something called a magnetron. Inside the microwave  are reflected inside of the microwave made of metal material.
It absorbs the food and makes Microwaves cause water molecules which make the food heat up and then the vibrate.

A fun thing to think about is what will happen if I set the microwave to heat something up but I don’t actually heat anything up? Well the answer to that question is that the magnetron will create things that travel into where you cook your food and will be absorbed if there is no food or water just a running microwave those things floating around will not go into where your cooking your food and just go back to the magnetrons. To answer your question not much happens just a bunch of chemicals and stuff like that.

Well that it, that is how a microwave works!

How Gas ovens work

Today we will be talking about how gas ovens work. We will also be answering one of the most popular questions about how a gas oven works! YOu will also learn one cool fact about gas ovens! I hope you learn a lot!!

In a gas oven the top of the oven will be hotter, if you are baking two cakes and one tray is on the bottom and the other is on the top which one is going to cook faster? The top one! It is important that when you are baking two things and one is on the top and the other is on the bottom your are rotating the pans and having the bottom got to the top midway through its baking time.

When you are looking to buy an oven and you are choosing between a gas oven and an electric oven i would choose gas because it is cheaper to run, it is also better for the environment.

One of the most popular questions asked about gas ovens is which gas oven brand is the best? Good thing I know the answer, the answer is Elica 3 Burners Gas Stove. One cool fact about a gas oven is that they have been around since the 1900’s, isn’t that crazy??!!

It’s time to wrap up our talk about gas ovens, I hope you learned a lot and now know what time of gas oven you need to get!
