4th grade was a great year for me. 4th grade was a great year for me mostly because I had a good class and teacher and I learned a lot.
One of the reasons 4th grade was a great year for me is that I had a good class and teacher. I had a good class because a lot of my friends were in my class, and my class was nice to me. A lot of my good friends were in my class, and even some people that I was never in class with. Being in class with people that I was never in class with gave me the opportunity to make new friends. I was already friends with most people, but I got even closer to them. My class was a good team and worked well together. My teacher Ms. Assatly was a great teacher for fourth grade. She read us fourteen read alouds! Ms. Assatly taught me so much and she always knew how to help us. I will always remember this year that my class and my teacher made special.
Another reason 4th grade was a great year for me is that I learned a lot. Ms. Assatly taught our class so much. We learned so many new things such as fractions, decimals, informational writing and reading, realistic fiction writing, about colonial times, about the American Revolution, summarizing text, etc. I will definitely use these skills in fifth grade and for the rest of my life. Another thing we did was we learned things in different ways. For example, in science we watched Brain Pops, did experiments, and read articles. In writing, we did assessments and on-demand pieces. In math, we worked on the workbook and did reviews in the textbook. In social studies, we made an American Revolution book, made a green-screen clip, and went on many field trips. Different ways of learning helped our class become stronger in all subjects. I learned a lot in 4th grade.
