Yesterday our class learned about how self driving cars work and we watched a video about a blind man who had one and it really made a big impact in his life. In class today, we started to make our circuits. Basically what we have to do is make a circuit that works when two pieces of tin foil touch. Mr. Calvert said it related to self driving cars because it is how they work. We each have to make three circuits and they have to be creative. We saw some examples from past students. One of them was that you had to push a piece of cardboard with tin foil on it down onto another piece of cardboard with tin foil on it. Another one was kind of like a seesaw and one end had tin foil on it and when it was pushed down it touched another piece of tin foil on the bottom piece of cardboard. We are continuing this project tomorrow and next week.
