Philadelphia School Trip

As a field trip I went to Philadelphia. But, I had to wake up at four forty five, but it was totally worth it! I had so much fun on the way there because first of all on the bus I was talking to my friends for three hours and fifteen minutes! Then I was excited about how much fun we are going to have there,  and one more thing, I was excited for the way back because I can talk to my friends again!

At the Philadelphia trip when we got there we met our counselor but I forgot what her name was. She was explaining all these historical stuff and how old they were and what use they had. We were going into a building and I was relived because I started to get really hot. In side we saw another man. And he explained about people’s spots and why certain people went where but there was something really funny, there was someone really famous who I think was Alexander Hamilton and people had to wait until they could talk to him. But this guy had no patience and slid down a pole to meet him first. In my opinion it was funny.

At the Philadelphia trip we were walking to something really important, it was called the Liberty Bell, it was rung every time to celebrate George Washington. It was really cool and there was a lot of cool pictures and artifacts about famous people down an aisle until you see the Liberty Bell. We stopped for a lot of them. After the Liberty Bell Finally we ate lunch and that was really fun because I spoke to my friends again and I was hungry so I was glad that we ate. Then after lunch we went to another guy who explained us the Declaration of Independence. we talked about who signed it and about We the People. I think that was the most interesting part. And after that we saw a play. Well it wasn’t really a play it was only one person speaking a lot about the whole time period around that time, she explained everything but some of the stuff we already heard but I was fine with it. After that crazy day of home we were going home. We walked and walked and then got to the buses. Overall the trip was super fun and I learned a lot!
