Passion Project 3

So far every thing is going good. I’m starting my next project. It is a project to use the magnetic force to make a motor. First you need a battery copper wire and little magnets. first you bend the wire into a unenclosed circle. Then you stack the magnets on top of each other. then place the battery in the copper wire, about 4-6 magnets and place the battery and wire on top of the magnets and the wire will spin. ( tip: you must have the top of the battery touching the wire and the bottom part of the wire must be a millimeter away)

Passion project 2

My passion project is going good so far my first experiment worked ( i will post pictures of that latter) and my chicken bone project is working pretty good. My Hypothesis is that the vinegar will take out the Calcium in the bone and make it rubbery. the bone is starting to look weird. If any of you want to try this at home all u need is a raw chicken bone and vinegar. first put the chicken bone in the bowl then poor in the vinegar and let it set for one or two weeks.

passion project #1

2 days ago Mrs Boyer assigned us a passion project first we have to wright a letter to her explaining it

the document she gave us is up above. I chose science. For the building part I will do science experiments and make a video. My first experiment is trying to light something on fire and not burn it my second experiment is to turn a chicken bone to rubber. My third experiment is to start a fire with a wrapper. My forth experiment is to turn milk to plastic and so on. I will post more blog posts so keep looking. 🙂

🚂Rube Goldberg #2

Today was our third meeting. our rube Goldberg looks pretty good and we got the first 4 or so steps down we still cant agree on the toaster or the fan but other then that its pretty good and most of our steps are good.  Our rube Goldberg goes like this First Sam drops the car, it hits dominoes and that hits another car that car hit a button on a rote robot that then hits a marble down the table which goes though a marble run and at the end it tips over a cup the cup is attached to a popsicle stick. Thats all we have done.

Colonial Research Project

The past few weeks my class (Mrs. Boyers class) started a Colonial Research Project. We chose two topics and do a project. I chose tech and design something. A few people chose to do a rap some chose to do a model. I chose to do a trivia machine. it will be a wood rectangle prism and five pieces of paper one showing the question and the four others showing the answers you can chose. there will also be four switches under the four pieces of paper. when the switch for the correct answer is flipped a led turns green. when the wrong answer switch is flipped the led light turns red and when the leds run out of power you can open the top of the box and put a new battery in. in progress wises I am doing pretty good all. I need to do is get the materials and start building

I will post my blue print here
