Summary: Do you know how to code? Well, Hadi Partovi, who is the founder of Code.org, thinks coding should be a subject at school, one as important as math. To make students more interested, he created something called, “The Hour of Code”. It’s for anyone, no matter if you’re age 4 or 104! It is observed during Computer Science, which is from December 3rd to 9th. The one hour long session can be taken place any time that week. Partakers can choose various assignments, which are like games, and code to finish the assignment. A few games in 2018 were: The Grinch: Saving Christmas with Code, a Star Wars game, and even a game for musicians! Code.org has also created online courses for a normal school curriculum. 35 states now count the subject towards high school graduation subject. Wow!
