My Family Is Important To Me 😇

Hey, this is a personal essay about why my family is important to me. Enjoy!                 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Many people think that family is annoying, but I think that family is one of the best things on earth. I know I can trust my family, and they know they can trust me, because we will always help each other, we understand each other, and most importantly we will always be there for one another. There are many ways to prove this and these are a few.

I know I can trust my family because they always help me when I need them. A few things they help me with are:

  • My homework, to make sure I didn’t misspell or misadd, or if I simply just don’t understand something
  • My emotions, for example when I’m stressed they make me tea.
  • MY LIFE!!!!! They help me with cleaning, cooking, and more life skills!

For example, my class was learning multiplication and my teacher was not explaining it in an understandable way, so once when I had multiplication homework and I didn’t get it I finally told my mother.                                                                                                              “Mommy I don’t get this,” I told my mother.                                                                                My mother explained to me how multiplication worked and when I still didn’t get it she didn’t freak out. Instead she bought me a multiplication poster and eventually I learned it.  Another time when they were there for me was when it was allergy season and I needed to take specific medicine. It was hard to get the right combination for me and so my mom helped me. This may not be important to other people, but this is important for me because I don’t understand stuff sometimes and my family knows just how to explain it to me.

Another reason why my family is so important to me is because I feel like they understand me. These are some things they understand:

  • How I’m feeling, like if I’m irritated, sad, or angry.
  • What I want, like if I’m hungry, or if I’m in the mood to swim
  • If I’m tired or energetic

See, my family can usually understand me.

For example, once I was at a hotel in Germany with my family, and Eva, Alexander, and I were doing a show. While Alexander was getting his costume, I was looking for suitable stuff for my costume, because Eva, Alexander, and I were ghosts.                                             “Is this good?” I asked Eva.  She was about to answer when a fellow theater kid came. She looked about my age.                                                                                                                        “Ask the director!” She shouted.                                                                                                          “I was going to!” I shouted back. The girl blabbed about me having to see the director now.                                                                                                                                                       “We’re going!” Eva yelled, she seemed to understand that I was annoyed.

Another reason I feel my family understands me is because when I was on a roller coaster, and I was pretty young, I was scared. I was sitting next to Sophie, and Eva and Daddy were on the other side.  The coaster was spinning and moving and going crazy. Sophie reached over and held my hand. I feel that she understood that I was scared.     This is another reason why my family is so important to me.

The final and most important reason my family is so important to me is because they will always be there for me.                                                                                                                     One reason that proves this is, when once Eva, Alexander, and I were playing a game. Then Eva and I crashed our heads together and it was very painful. Alexander brought us inside and Mommy, instead of blaming one of us, helped us and gave us an ice pack to put against our hurt heads.                                                                                                                   Another reason to prove that my family will always be there for me was, when I was once in tennis class, we were playing a game were we had to shoot over the fence 25 times, and it was pretty hard because our teacher would shoot the ball back to us. Anyway, we did that and then while we ran our teacher was supposed to hit us with a ball and then we’d be frozen and the others could only save us in the next round. So, I was running, and then I looked behind me as a person got hit by a ball. I looked forward and saw cones literally right in front of me. I jumped but my feet still hit the cones and I fell on my face. I had a bloody nose, so my sister, Sophie, who was in the same tennis class as me, brought me to the front desk and got me a tissue. Then she called my mom. Sophie helped me while Mommy was not here yet, and it helped me a lot. This is the most important thing about why my family is so important to me, and many people probably agree.

Other people should care about this because if they are the type that think their family is annoying, then they might not be spending enough time with their family, and should probably take time to do that. I realize that I could keep on going with more reasons!          My family is so important for me, and that will never change.
