Tech 2

A few days ago, we made paper airplanes and ended up being allowed to watch videos on how to do them. For one I did it on my own. It was a classic dart plane. The other plane I made the 2020 world record plane which was very challenging to make.

Tech 1

Today, we had a choice of videos to watch. I chose to see how gummy bears are made. Here’s the process: Gelatin is mixed with sugar, and flour A mold is made from corn starch The gelatin mix is put into the mold The mold with the mix is frozen The mix gets taken out

Final blog post tech

This last scratch project I made a flappy bird game. The more you survive the higher your score. I really enjoyed a maze game that had a lot of code. I have really enjoyed tech this year. I also think it was a good learning experience.

Spreadsheets

We have been working In spreadsheets the last couple of weeks. We had are final product today. I did mine on baseball. I showed a lot of calculations, and a chart.

Here is the chart:

Computer tech 4

I have been spending a lot of time on learn to code one, on playgrounds. It is teaching me a lot about writing code. I haven’t got stuck too much on levels. I did get stuck on one though. It was a very long level that I made a lot of mistakes on, but I eventually got it right. I am learning a lot!

here is the hard level:

Computer Tech 3

In computer tech we have started using an app called playgrounds. It is teaching us the basics of java script. I have finished the first couple of levels. The goal of it is to make the character complete the level.

Here is one level I did:

About Me

I have finished my about me project for computer tech. I had to code something about me on Scratch. I have used scratch before so it was not too hard. One of the most important blocks to use is the broadcast blocks. They can send out a message that makes it so other sprites can do things or even for the same sprite!

Here are some images of my project:

Technology 10

I finished my flashlight. I did everything on my own, including soldering the circuit, sawing the pipes, and drilling the holes for the switch and light. I thought the sawing was the hardest part because the saw kept slipping. This was our final technology assignment, and I am proud of how my flashlight came out. I also like that the LED light is really powerful, and the flashlight is waterproof. I am really sad that technology is ending because I really enjoyed the class.
