Constitution project: post 1

For my project I’m studying the Liberty Bell. I am making a miniature Liberty Bell. I chose it because I thought it would be an exciting project that I would learn a lot from. I am making a blueprint of what I’m going to do. After I make my blueprint I am going to 3-D print a Liberty Bell on Tinkercad. So far I have looked at lots of pictures of the Liberty Bell. I also started making the design on Tinkercad. Overall it’s going well even though I have a few problems. One of the problems I had was I couldn’t find what the Liberty Bell said. I found it by being more specific on the search. A problem I’m still having is I can’t find where the small crack is on the bell. Designing the bell itself is going well. I just decided to make a blueprint so I haven’t started it.Image result for liberty bell

Constitution Center

Philadelphia, friday november 9th. Two large JR busses parked next to the constitution center. In the buses were heathcote fifth graders The constitution center is a museum about the time colonial times, politics and much more. There’s even a voting center!

The voting center is full of a few booths that you can vote inside of it. It is basically a simulation of what you would actually do when you vote. In side of it you first click start and it picks a random election. It shows real democratic and republican candidates. Next it gives you quotes from them on some issues. After the quotes you can vote based on what you think. Finally you see the results from the actual thing.

Another exhibit, which is limited time is the Alexander Hamilton exhibit. In the exhibit there  are replicas of the guns used in the Hamilton Burr duel. There is his desk and the Reynolds pamphlet too. The fifth grade was amazed.

Lets see how Alejandro a fifth grader liked this. He said that he really liked the dueling room. He also said he enjoyed it a lot.

Another place the fifth grade went to was the statue room. In the statue room there were life size bronze statues of famous people from the american revolution. The fifth graders were mind blown from this.

The last thing they did in the morning was watch two plays called freedom rising and living news. Living news is on security and privacy and freedom rising is on the american revolution. After that it was time for lunch

The Super Bowl!

One time I was at a sleepover with my friend Sam. At the end of the sleepover I felt a little sick but I didn’t tell his mom. When I got home it got a lot worse so I told my mom I didn’t feel well. In my head I was begging that I wasn’t sick because I was going to a party to watch the Super Bowl later. My favorite team the Patriots were playing the Falcons. My mom told me I had a fever and I wouldn’t be able to go to the party. I was really disappointed that I couldn’t go. Instead I had to stay home. My fever kept on getting worse and worse. When the game started the Patriots were getting destroyed.  Since I was so sick I only watched the first half. The score was 28-3 at halftime. The Falcons were beating the Patriots. When I got in bed I was thinking about the game while I fell asleep. When I woke up I still was so sick. It turns out my parents woke me up during the night to tell me that the Patriots won and they scared me! I didn’t remember it so when I woke up I was surprised that the Patriots won. I was really happy because they had basically no chance when I went to bed. I also was sad that I missed watching the Patriots’ comeback.
