Technology 10

I finished my flashlight. I did everything on my own, including soldering the circuit, sawing the pipes, and drilling the holes for the switch and light. I thought the sawing was the hardest part because the saw kept slipping. This was our final technology assignment, and I am proud of how my flashlight came out. I also like that the LED light is really powerful, and the flashlight is waterproof. I am really sad that technology is ending because I really enjoyed the class.

Here is my flashlight:

Technology 9

I am still working on my flashlight. Today I finished soldering my circuit. I just realized that our first unit prepared us for this step. If I hadn’t learned and practiced how to use the soldering iron, then it would have been hard to make the circuit, and I could have burned myself. That would have been dangerous because the soldering iron is 800 degrees. Luckily Mr. Calvert taught us how to use the soldiering iron safely and I was careful. Now I need to put flashlight together.
