You could get itchy by poison ivy, also you could get itchy when the nerve cells sends a spinal cord up to the brain which hears the signals and sends in an itchy feeling into the body.
If you rub yourself then It will send a signal up your spine and your brain will react by giving an itchy feeling
We itch when something called histamine activates one of our nerve cells it travels through the spine and into the brain.
My favorite part of the video was when the animated person said that “i’ll get you back fort his poison ivy.
I thought the reason was simply, well, we just sometimes had them! I did not know that all of this is behind just itching! Its fascinating on how complex it is, just to itch.
I think we itch because all the advanced science stuff. I can’t remember a thing from that video,the only thing I remember is that part about something triggers something,and the it sends a signal to the brain to make you itch…

Some people get itchy when they are hot.
When histamine rubs on one of the nerve sells, a signal is sent to the brain then you experience an itchy feeling. Even though your body is very itchy, don’t do it. It will make your skin very rough and bad. Scratching is contagious. If you see someone else scratching, it might make you itchy to. Lastly, I was itchy during the short clip.

I really like the way the video showed it step by step. What I learned in the video was how to get itchy and what happens is that a cell in your body makes your body itchy and the cell send an image and makes you itchy and if you scratch it will bleed but if you have poison ivy there will be little dots and the video tells you to stay away from three leaves

C-fibers, are activated by histamine, for example, and sends a message through the spinal cord and into the brain where it is processed by the somatosensory cortex, which creates itch.
