Paper airplanes

I learned a lot about airplanes in this past week. I learned that the wider the wings are, the more it glides and stays in the air. Something bad about gliders is if you even tilt part of it to the side, it completely veers off course and spins around. I also learned that the Read More…

Electroscope

In this project, i used a sweater and a balloon to move a piece of foil in a glass. I think that the foil moved because the balloon was negatively charged. From what i remember from a simulation, when i rubbed the virtual ballon on the virtual sweater, the ballon was negatively charged. The foil Read More…

Atoms

In tech, i learned that in order for you to see an atoms parts, you would have to blow it up to the size of the earth. I also learned that the nucleus is the center of an atom.

Fabmaker studio

When i tested fabmaker studio, it was generally easy, but i had trouble printing it out. Once it eventually printed out, I constructed the pentagon sphere with clear tape and an exacto knife.

The strength of shapes

I noticed that the triangle structure held more weight than the cube one. One problem that i had was that the masking tape that i wound around the joints didn’t hold very well, so i used hot glue instead.

Tech I-beam project

In tech, we are making I-beams out of cardboard and glue or tape. My I-beam is made out of cardboard and hot glue. I wonder where the most force is when you put pressure on an I-beam. One problem that I had was finding a level surface to put my I-beam. It eventually found 4 Read More…

How I used energy this weekend

This weekend, I swung on a swing hanging from a tree in my front yard. The as I was swinging higher and higher, it was kinetic energy because I was moving, and kinetic energy is the energy of moving things. When the swing reached it’s peak, the kinetic energy converted into potential energy, because I Read More…

What’s is energy?

Energy is the power to do work. Energy is the ability to do work. There are two types of energy, potential, and kinetic. Potential energy is the energy that is stored, and kinetic energy is the energy of moving objects. It takes energy for you to jump, for a light to turn on, and it Read More…

About Me

In my project, I added a muffin sprite, and I edited it so it had a face! I made the muffin the narrator, and had other sprites representing my hobbies and favorite things. When clicked, they said something about me, and went to a place for sprites that had already spoke.
