In the book Seedfolks by Paul Fleischman there is a character named Curtis. There are some girls that like Curtis, but out of those girls I think Curtis likes Lateesha the most. The problem is Lateesha wants a kind boy not a strong and handsome boy. So Curtis stops working out and starts planting a garden. He starts planting a giant Tomato, and puts a sign on it that says Lateesha’s Tomato’s. The problem is that Lateesha does not know who put up that sign.
