Sky trek!

Hello again!  Today I’m going to talk about my adventure on the zipline called “Sky trek”. It is the longest zipline in South America and the fourth longest zipline in the whole world! First we had to learn how to break, but us kids just had to spread our legs out because we were lighter than the grown ups. Then we had to go on what looked like a super souped-up ski lift. It took five minutes just to get to the canopy of a rain forest on a small mountain. The first zipline was like a test, so it was really short. But after that it became SERIOUS! The second zipline was so long kids had to pair up with each other because we were not heavy enough to reach the end on our own. My eyes were closed for half of the time that I was on the zipline. the person in front of me, my friend Max, was screaming his head off! The impact when we reached the end was so strong we almost came flying off! But this was nothing compared to “Big Daddy”, as they call it. It is the second last zip line, but its top speed is… FIFTY MPH!!!!! I had to go with someone else that was about my weight, so I guess we were going ONE-HUNDRED mph. The whole time I was on “Big Daddy”, I thought that the cable would break and I would be just screaming” I love you mom!” (Even though my mom wasn’t there, she was with my brother) Fortunately, the cable didn’t break. Then we had to go on one last zip line slightly longer than the first one, which was a relief. I’ll post more later!

  1. hi Edward,
i once did a zip line across a lake, but it wasn’t as fast as 50 MILES PER HOUR! How did you do that?
