Immigration Blog Post 2

Finally the last step. The immigration video. I’ve worked for months making questions blog posts and making a video. But I’m only talking about one of the things in the video. This was probably my second favorite part of the process, the first easily was interviewing.  I probably would have put it but as you’ll see it was hard.

First I need a script because this would be all voiceover. Even more important was spacing out all my information to have enough to fill the time limit. I think this was easier to do because I could get 7 seconds because a would need to wait for a second rather than not and have 6 seconds.

Then I went to do my video sat down and posted pictures. one by one I finished. Even though it sounds like an easy job it was hard because a lot of them I had to make so they could see everybody in the photo.

Finally, I was doing the voiceover this probably was the easiest because I rea my scrip being recorded. I waited for a second and spoke my words waited a second then it was done.

In all this was probably my favorite to do because I got to interview somebody and that was definitely one thing I have been looking forward to. Also, we got to make a video which I always think is fun.

Finally, after a long Rube Goldberg project, I was aroused to see the news of a new project. At that moment I got to work did my question and then got to do the interview.

During the weekend I thought of questions. I took a lot of the questions from the things I need to know and made them more friendly so that they would say more when I would ask them. Still, I needed more so I watched some former kid’s videos and thought about what questions gave them this information.

Finally 10 minutes before the interview I called her on face time. We talked and cathed up and I told her the ground rules. Be honest, and feel free to fully open up and give it as a story. She offered to help she even got some questions from her co-worker whos a 3rd-grade teacher. I kindly refused because that would take me over my limit and at five we started. To my surprise she opened up so much, telling me everything. I even found myself asking follow-up questions. I felt very satisfied with what I got and that I could make an amazing story.

However, it was my grandmother and I have known her since the day I was born I learned so much more about her than I have ever had.
