For my “All About Me” project, I created a beach/lake themed setting. I used a beach background with waves that I could “surf” on with my surfboard actor. I also included a sailboat and a floaty. Using the tilt right and left connectors, I made the surfboard ride the wave, then come back to catch another wave. With the floaty, I used blocks that make the actor glide back and forth. I found the properties of where a placed the floaty, then using the information of x and y, I adjusted the spacing just a little to make it looklike it’s bobing all around. Lastly, I added a sailboat. Just like the surfboard, I used the glide commands to have the sailboat glide across the lake.
I created this theme for my project because I am very into water sports and water activities. I have been doing water sports for a while now because my grandparents live on a lake. Some of my favorite water activities are rafting and surfing. I also learned how to sail over the summer.
