How to help a blind person navigate themselves

Yesterday, we were challenged to come up with solutions to helping blind people get from place to place. Mr Calvert told us to think outside the box and come up with possible and impossible ideas. Blind people cannot always get around easily. For example they cannot drive on their own because they cannot see the wheel or the road. That is why the self driving car is a useful for blind people who cannot drive themselves. It is even challenging to cross the street for blind people because they cannot see the streetlight and walking sign, so they don’t know if they can cross the street. This is why a service dog is very helpful for blind people. The service dog can guide them, so they know when to cross the street. It is important to know when cars cannot drive and when you can cross the street, so the cars do not run you over. As you can see there are many challenges blind people have while there are also many solutions for blind people.

Yesterday I came up with more solutions to help blind people get around. Most of them are not very possible, but some could be possible in the future. Here is a list of my solutions to help blind people navigate around the world.⬇️

-eye transplant

-special glasses that help blind people see better

-self driving plane

-Headphone that tell you your surroundings

-=Contacts that help you see better
