Exploring Wood Tools

Hello blog! Yesterday during technology, I played with different screws and tools. There were two different woods to choose from like thin wood, and thick wood. I chose the thinner wood. This the thinner wood:

We also got to choose between different screws such as a small sharp screw, a large sharp screw, a flat screw and a hook screw. I chose these screws:

Next we got to use different hand tools such as an all and a screw driver. I choose both tools:

I thought it was hardest to screw in the flat screw. The flat screw didn’t easily carve into the wood because the point wasn’t sharp. This is the flat screw:

I thought the large sharp screw was the easiest screw to screw into the wood. It easily wedged into the wood because of how sharp the point was. This is the large sharp screw:

I realized that the sharper the screw, the easier it is to screw into wood.  Also it is a lot easier to unscrew a screw from the wood then to screw it in. Overall, I had a good time playing with different screws, hand tools and wood.

Thank you!
