Scarsdale Middle School Trip

Today, we went to the Scarsdale Middle School for a tour of the school and to meet the teachers. The teachers were really nice and all the classes sound really fun.

One thing that I’m really excited for is the all digital assignments. I am obsessed with technology and when I got to here that all of the assignments in Butler are on iPads and Chromebooks which made my day. If you think about it, three years at school are all on iPads, my dream come true!

So, when we first got there, we got off the bus and went into the auditorium. We were greeted by the house counselors, the principle, future principle, and the S.O. president and vice president. They all gave a speech (except the house counselors) and welcomed us to the middle school.

Then, we went to our house lunch room and met our academic teachers, Ms. Casitello (Social Studies, Dr. Williams (Science), Mr. Hilpert (English), and Mr. Arfsten (Math). I thought that all the teachers in the Butler House were super nice and I can’t wait to get to know my teachers more next year!
