The Life Cycle of a Frog

In my Expert Book I am showing about The Life Cycle of a Frog. It took us about two months to learn everything and to write it and to type our all about book. It took us hard work but the work paid off.

Thanks for reading

Post a #3 Maglev Train

Today, we realized that the sides of the vehicle were attracting to  the sides of the track. So we turned the magnets around so the sides of the strip magnets on the vehicle will repel. When we turned the magnets around the stopped attracting to the side of the srtip magnets on the side of the track.

Our track had three layers of long  strip magnets on each side of the track the vehicle had two short magnets on each side of the vehicle. It was successful because it was  not tilting and it was not bumpy it was really smoothly. The little weight in a cup the were not tipping and they were not falling out of the cup.

I learned that the track has to be smooth and not bumpy if you want something to go on top. You shouldn’t put to much magnets you only need to add two or four magnets for it to repel . The most important thing is for it to repel that is really important if you want to make your  own maglev train. For the EDP it will start with Ask,Imagine,Plan,Create,Improve this is the process of the steps of the maglev train. About working in groups it was really fun because we got to share our ideas on what we can improve this past week. So this was a really fun project so now you can make our own maglev train to.

For 6 months when we were in school we learned about science. Now we are on maglev trains and we also created one. We made our vehicle float, but we had problems so we had to improve.

So to improve our maglev train we had to put 4 more strip magnets to the track and two more ring magnets on the vehicle. Then it was very successful. We got it!

Before we got it we had to try lots of experiments. Our problem was  when we gave it a light push it would not go fully acros. It went in the middle. We tried to make it repel where the vehicle was and attract on the other side.It was repelling, but the magnet that we taped to the vehicle was scrapping the track. So we had to undo it. We took that magnet away and found a different way.

Our goal is for the vehicle to  levitate and not drift.
