I thought it was really cool how I could just go through the museum and it actually felt like I was there. Like I had to get in the line ( not like I had to wait in line though.) I got to go in the gift shop and check out what they had. I also got to go in this weird jungle gym thing. I got to go on each floor and check out the rooms. On the third floor their was this really cool construction zone place where you saw kids playing in these big tubes that were used for construction. Overall I thought it was really cool and a great experience.

    The Great lakes

I explored the Great Lakes and discovered that there are lots of animals that live in the water there. I also learned that 35 million people between the US and Canada get there drinking water from The Great Lakes.
I never knew that 35 million people get there water from the Great Lakes.

Son Doong Cave would be a great adventure. This cave has lots of path ways and is very big. It would be easy to get lost so if you visit it you should be careful. Overall I think it would be amazing to visit this cave because of the beautiful sites.

I didn’t really get a “virtual trip” to Yellowstone Fort, but I learned about it. It was super cool. Most of the buildings there are still standing. The cool part about that is that the buildings were built during the Army era

While “exploring” Mars, I found that if you clicked on certain parts of Curiosity’s body, you would get information, the most interesting one to me was about it’s RTG, which helps it convert heat into energy. I think its really amazing that NASA was able to program Curiosity to do things like dig, drill and snap photos!

I visited The Great Wall of China and I got to explore it a little. I went to a watch tower, Jinshanling to Simatai, (which is closed), and saw what it looked like in the winter. I learned about the different parts of the great wall. I saw some pictures and some of the parts look dangerous! I also learned about Badaling the most famous one, and it looked very nicely restored. I think the virtual field trips are very cool.

I liked going to this place because it was fun to have a birds eye view. My favorite part was when I saw old faithful. I also saw a bison here and there.

    Yellowstone National Park

The website is really good, it provided really large amount of imformation. Most importantly, I get to see the 3-D models. They are really detailed and I get to see the shape and size of some important Geysers, including some that I missed on my trip, such as Castle Geyser. When I went to the park last summer, I got a book that told you how to predict the next eruption, and it worked, it is exactly the same to the website’s. Plus, I learned some things about the geysers that I didn’t know back then. The trip is interesting.

Today I went to the Louvre Museum. I picked to look at the Egyptian Antiquities. When it first started I saw all these cool statues. some of them kind of looked the same but then others looked completely different. After that I went in this room with lots of paintings and even some pictures and out of all the rooms I saw those were my two favorite. Overall I thought it was a great experience.

I took a virtual field trip to the Metropolitan Museum of Art. I saw all kinds of different art. There was an exhibit about an artist Vermeer. His paintings were cool. There were a few exhibits about fashion including Coco Chanel and Dior. The clothes and dresses were very fancy. I loved the Coco Chanel outfits the best.

I’d like to go back to the museum when it opens to see the fashion.

I went to the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone. It was really cool. Did you know that the canyon was formed about 160,00 to 140,000 years ago, the canyon was formed by a gigantic flow of lava caused by an eruption about 640,000 years ago? Woah.

I went to the aquarium and had lots of fun! There were five different scenes that I could visit. I liked all of them very much. And you could learn facts about the animals by pressing a circle with an i inside it. It tells you facts about the animal that it is above. It was fun looking for them and learning about them too. The sea turtles were extremely cute!

Today I went to The Great Wall Of China. I noticed some parts didn’t have any railing and others had pieces of trash which I thought was really bad. I went up to the watchtower and I thought it was really cool to look down on the rest of the wall and the people. I saw some people in the watchtower in a little circle on the floor it looked like they were playing a game so now I’m wondering what game. Overall it was an amazing trip and a great experience.
