That chapter was really good. I’m so glad that they found their uncle, because that makes me know they are safe. I’m also really happy that they all washed themselves. I can imagine how dirty they were. I cant wait to finally meet pa. I’ve been waiting to meet him since the beginning of the book.
i dont think pa is there. i think pa isn’t alive any more i think there uncle picked them up because pa is not there. they seem really excited to shower.
I’m surprised to find out that they let them eat as much as they wanted because there was a lot of immigrants but maybe there is a lot less immigrants then I thought. I know that Fivel wants to start looking American but I wonder if the other kids want to look American too. I wonder what Pa’s reaction will be to seeing his family after such a long time and what everyone else’s reaction will be.
I surprised that the people let them eat as much as they wanted and that Fivel and Benyomin got to take a a shower and get a hair cut to and I am happy that they will get to meet Pa soon.
They are going to see pa. Hooray. Thought I still thing that something bad is going to happen and Beryl’s character is going to come back into the story. I’ve realized why the book is called bridge to America. It’s because Fivel thought there was a bridge to America.
I’m relieved that they get to eat so much food and they meet one of their family member, if they don’t know something, they have some one to ask. I think Pa may not even be alive, I thin it is someone elde who send the money and Pa might have dies in WWI.
I am surprised that Fivel didn’t want to drink the apple juice. All this waiting and reading until we get to meet pa is making me nervous. I wonder how pa’s reaction will be when he sees Fivel, Benyomin, Rifka, Kvola, Hannah, and Ma. For some reason I am thinking that pa isn’t going to be what they expected. I can’t wait to read more.
It’s kind of odd that these people are fascinated with the things they don’t have, but use them so often. We are really lucky. From now on, this story could go two ways. Everybody is saying that Fivel will meet Pa because he said so. But maybe something happens and they meet Pa at the end instead. That is possible because if they saw Pa, it would be a good place to end the story. The other option is that they will see Pa and go through a lot with him.
I think that something might have happened to their dad but their dads brother doesn’t want to tell them until they are clean and they are going to the funeral
I am happy that they will get to see pa. I am also happy that they got to feel what America would be like for them with the food and the bathhouse and the barber shop.
I think the story is going to be like home of the brave where Kek met his mom at the end and I think Fivel will meet his dad at the end like Sachin said. I’m happy that they are meeting more family and are safe. Now I think it is going to be an obstacle course to get to Pa.

Hopefully, Fivel gets to meet Pa, and I agree with Sachin. Either the book will end with Fivel and his family meeting Pa, or they will meet Pa sometime else. I think that most likely they won’t meet Pa at the end, because the readers like us wouldn’t know much about him.
