The History of Typography

During our class time in the computer lab ,Mr. Casal showed us a video about the history of typography. After  watching the video I saw how much different the letters used to look.

I also saw the italics of how slanted it was.

Letters used to be wide and really big and tall.

It is really cool how the person on the video cut out cool letters for example he cut out italics witch probably is really hard to cut out.

William caslon  made Old style type face.

william caslon the 4th made straight letters.

Black letter  is the first type of letters. Also  Friedrich gootanburg made Black letter.Black letter spread around Europe.

Roman type is the 2nd type face.
