So far it hasn’t been too hard finding resources. And I’ve had a lot of time for researching so I have been getting my work done. For my notes I have been writing the sub question, then the source, and the note for the sub question. I haven’t had to change anything yet like a sub question or resource but I might. From looking at my notes you can tell that I’ve been putting a lot of effort into this project. Some resources I’ve been using are:
Resources and Notetaking
When it came to getting resources, I just looked up websites with the history and the facts about Air Force Ones. I will compare the informations on the website to other websites so I know the information is trustworthy and I will do many other things to make sure I can rely on some website. I think the resources that will be most helpful are the ones with the the information that’s most important and that I need. I don’t think the way any website looks or what it has really makes it more useful I just think the informations in a website is what matters. The skill I’m trying to improve in is being able to figure out what a word means by looking at the other words around It. I’m also trying to learn better vocabulary words and these too skills will help with interviews and videos to make me sound more professional. For note taking, I’m just getting information for every sub question at a time and then I’ll get to my main inquiry question.
Topic Choice and Proposal
When I had to choose a topic for this passion project, I was pretty stuck. I didn’t even know what I was interested in. I had no choice but to think of really random topics. After a while I just looked around my room and it came to me. As I stared at my shoes, I started thinking. I could just do my project about Nike Air Force Ones. Those are one of my favorite pairs of shoes and it’s a very unique topic, so I thought why not. It took me a while to be 100% sure that I was going to do that for my project. But once I was sure, the research questions just came to me. I just thought of the questions I asked myself when I got my topic. I’m really excited to see what the next step will be and I’ll keep you guys updated!

All I have left to do is empty out my bin and once I finish that I’ll probably start something else and finish during lunch when I go to tech. I’m so sad it’s almost over but I can’t stay at tech forever. It’s been really fun making and designing new things, learning about molecules, playing fun games, and step out of my comfort zone.
Tech #9
I learned a lot from Mr. Calvert and tech made me so happy. I’m really gonna miss it. I also had a lot of help from my friends so I’m really grateful for all of them. After technology I have art, and after art I have health. Before technology I had computer technology and seminar. I haven’t finished being in all my quarterlies but I think tech will be my favorite.

My next quarterly is Art and I’m going to miss tech so much. I will probably come to tech during lunch but it wont be the same. It’s also good to learn and try something new though. I have some artistic people in my class so I think they will like it. Overall, my class is very well behaved and we get work done.
Tech #7
Tech is very fun because you can do a majority of things. Right now some people are making houses and building made of cardboard, others are working on their portfolio, and some people are even 3D printing. Most people finished this but we also have to clean out our bins today.
Tech #6
I’ve learned a lot in tech. I learned how to solder, saw, and hot glue. I learned about atoms, switches, and power tools. The scariest things I had to do was soldering. It was really scary but I got the hang of it. I did need some help though. And something that I found kind of fun was stripping wires. It was easy and I also liked when I had to make the ends of the wires a hook.

Technology is super important in our lives. Technology makes everything easier and it’s more convenient. For example flashlights are very useful. If we didn’t have flashlights it would be very difficult to see in the dark if we didn’t have our phones. Another example would be our phones. Without our phones we wouldn’t be able to make calls and contact people in an emergency.
Tech #4
I completed my flashlight and I’m so happy with it. The only thing left to do is finish my blog portfolio. My parents were really impressed. Tomorrow is my last day of tech and I’m sad but I will probably come to tech during lunch. I also have to clean out my bin and see what I want to take home or throw out. I have a lot more to write about today so stay tuned.
