Finished Flashlight

This is my finished flashlight that I made. I am proud of myself for designing and building it. I am very happy!

I first made a design and model on the paper below. It had a scale of 1/2 an inch to be accurate and get a good scale for the actual flashlight. I then proceeded to build it.

I soldered the switch after I assembled it and it worked right away. I then put everything in the flashlight and it worked. It then made a makeshift scope and colored it black like a gun, and then I was done.

Second Switch

This is my second switch that will be used for my ‘self driving car’. I made the switch so that you press down, and the tinfoil on both sides conducts electricity, as I will be connecting it to my circuit I will make.

The self driving car will go a little something like this…

You will have a circuit that the switches are connected to, and as you push switches down, it lights up different lights. There are two card flippers, and their job is to flip cards. Red cards mean you push the switch on that side, and if there is red on both sides, you push the middle one.

How do you see if the ‘driver gets things wrong? There is also a police officer to check that. This is to mimick the safety of an actual self driving car and show you that the response of a human is not at all perfect, and that self driving cars should respond better. But what about in situations of human ethics? What about that?
