“Oregon Forest Law requires us to replant the site within two years and it needs to meet “green-up” standards by six [years]. By state law we are required to leave two live trees standing and two downed trees per acre of clearcut harvest. We are also requried to protect small medium and large fish streams.”

I really appreciate that states, or at least some states, want to protect our environment. I think it is good that they leave the streams untouched and some trees still there. I think you should leave more trees though although I appreciate how they replant.

I also think that there should be laws that don’t let you cut down a tree with an animal in it, as long as it is not a parasite. You should appreciate those animals too.
