  1. Today, March 23, at 7:40 am, I went outside and I was looking at the sky and I couldn’t see moon because the sun was so bright.

  2. At 8:12 AM on March 23 the moon is in a Waxing Crescent phase and 23% illuminated.

Here are some facts I researched.
-“The Moon has no atmosphere and so we can still see the damage caused billions of years ago”.
-“When the Moon is a crescent and only the crescent is being illuminated by the Sun, you can often see the shadow of the rest of the Moon. This is caused by reflection of sunlight from the Earth”.

  3. On March 23, 2017 at 7:39 am, I noticed that the moon was in the waning crescent phase.

I know that the diameter of the moon is 2,159 miles wide.

  4. Today, March 23rd, at 6:50am, I did not see the moon. Now it is the night time and I do not see any constellations. The sky condition is clear. I hope I get better luck tomorrow.

  5. I went outside at 8:00am and I did not see the moon. This morning the sky was cloudy. The moon was in it’s Waning Crescent phase. The moon was also 24% visible. Did you know that in four days the moon will be a New moon? Well I did and I can’t wait.

  6. At 8:15 AM on March 24th, I could’t see the moon because it is too cloudy. The moon is in a Waning Gibbous phase and is 15.4% illuminated.

  7. Today it is March 24, 2017. Yesterday I did not see the moon because it is in the waning crescent phase. I did not see any constellations, either.
