Capstone #1: Picking a Topic

It took me a while to think of a capstone project. My mom had me start thinking about it in the summer. We just got back from Puerto Rico, so my mom suggested me do El Yunque, since My family went to El Yunque to swim in a waterfall. But I thought about it and didn’t really want to do my capstone on it, So I thought about it some more. But I couldn’t think of ANYTHING.     …..       When we started the capstone project, I still didn’t know what to for my capstone! When I got home that night, I talked with my dad about it. I was thinking about doing Physics, but my dad said Physics is probably to big of a subject, and to narrow it down to something more simple. And I thought about Magnetism. And I liked that topic.

When I actualy started working on my project, magnetism was really hard. So then I changed my topic to Robotics. And THAT is my final topic. And I like it way more than magnetism.

  1. Thank you for sharing what topics you considered and rejected. Now that you’ve changed your topic to “Robotics,” please add a couple of sentences or more about that. I suggest you skip a line, add the current date, then add what you’d like to share about your current topic.
