The Race

It was the day of the big horse race. Luna had a horse named Rex. Luna won lots of races with Rex. The next day Luna took Rex to the race and he ran like the  wind. Already She was in 1rst place!Then Amelia craten, dropped tacks in front of Rex and he slipped!Amelia crossed the finish line. Even though she won people kept saying she was disqualified.  Then the vet came and said he had a broken leg and that they couldn’t compete. They took Rex to the vets office. Luna was mad at amelia. “Ha!Now I don’t have to worry about coming in second place now Luna!” said Amelia.  “Don’t be so sure about that because I also have Brittany Amelia. ” Luna went home depressed that the next race was next week!Luckily she had another horse named Brittany. The next week Luna expected to see Amelia at the next race but, she didn’t.  Her Dad said that Amelia was sick and couldn’t compete. Luna was happy that she couldn’t compete especially after what happened last race. Luna was waiting for the race to begin when somebody on the speaker announced “Amelia craten is joining the race. ”  Luna kept repeating the same word in her mind: “dang it!” Amelia smiled like a evil person. This time Luna looked where she was going. Amelia got in front of Luna. This time Amelia’s horse tried to buck Brittany but Brittany went to the side and Amelia’s horse Johnny ended up on the ground but they got up. Luna already passed the finish line and had won the race. Amelia was so mad. She was mad because she came in last place!Luna then got a call.   “Hello?” “Hi Luna its the vet. I called you because Rex healed and that you should probably pick him up. ” Luna was so happy when she heard that and that’s how it always was for her.
