US Open

“I am so excited,” I said jumping up and down because we were going to the US Open for the first time!

“I wish I could just go buy hot dogs, popcorn and soda and watch tennis,” I thought. We were in the car for so long. It took three hours to get to the tennis stadium. We were already so tired and we were going to get even more tired because of all the walking. I was so hungry, I thought I might die. I was wondering if I could get an autographed ball.

We went to one stadium to watch tennis.

It was 9:35 we went to the tennis stadium called Louis Armstrong stadium. When we got there it was almost over. It was 40-15. By the time we sat, Sablenka had won.

And when we thought it was over a new match started. We were like “What?” because it was already 10:00 pm. The match was Marwin Cillic VS Alex de Minaur. We wanted Alex de Minaur to win. It was a good match because when it got to 40-15 that would turn to 40-40. I was so excited because if Marwin Cillic got a point the other one would get a point too. It went back and forth. The balls were hit so fast I could see nothing but a yellow ball-like shape flying through the air so it was really hard to see. But sadly Marwin Cillic won. I was so excited when I got an autographed ball that said Marwin Cillic. It was so cool!  By the time we got home it was already 2:23 am. I could barely sleep because my eyes were open the entire time.
