Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving dinner

“ It’s already dinner time!” Amy said.

I sighed. No, no, no! I wished I can just play with my friends. Amy and Emma. But they had to cook. So I played with the dog that someone else had not my friends. I also saw my dad cut the big turkey. Everyone sat down. There were cards that said our names l sat next to Amy and my mom.

“All right,” l shouted across the table. “ Happy Thanksgiving!”

Dad put the turkey next to Emma. Emma was right next to Amy, which was right next to me. “Okay, you can pass it down,” Dad told Emma.

“Which part of the turkey do you want?” Mom asked me.

“The drumsticks please,” l said politely. I also had some mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, corn bread that was bread that taste like corn. And many green beans. While l was eating, l heard a cracking sound. CRACK! I realize it was my tooth. It hurt a little. But it was fine. I continued to eat my turkey. “Yum!” I try every type of food until l was full.

After eating, l had dessert. There was strawberry mousse, there was a hazelnut cake, chocolate, and a chocolate cake which I brought. I tried everyone of them. When I got to the chocolate cake, l tasted it. “I don’t like it,” I said to my mom in Chinese so nobody can understand what l said.

“Okay, then, why did you buy it then?” Mom asked me.

“Well, my dad brought it,” l answered. “Can I please have the strawberry mousse?”

“Okay,” mom helped me to scoop up the strawberry mousse.
“Love it,” I replied in a smile.
