  5. Today is March 8th at 6:32 pm. The sky was clear so I saw the moon. I think I saw a planet because it wasn’t blinking or moving! I think the moon was reflecting. I saw a gibbous moon tonight.

  6. Today is March 8th 7:00 P.M. The sky is clear. I see the moon. It’s going to take 4 more days till a full moon. Right now, it’s still a quarter moon. When a month has two full moons, the second full moon is called a blue moon. 8. Today is March 8th at the time of 7:55 PM. The sky was clear and the moon looked like it had changed position in the sky. Do you know what a lunar eclipse is when the moon is exactly between the sun and earth, and it makes almost a shadow on earth?

The winds were not that fast and it was kind of cold.I also learned that the average distance of the Moon from the Earth is 384,400 km (238,900 mi), or 1.28 light-seconds. I learned that at wikipedia today.

  11. Today is March 8th at 8:30. I saw the moon, it was almost a full moon. It looked beautiful. I learned that from Earth, we always see the same side of the moon; the other side is always hidden.

  13. Today March 8th at 8:14am (in Utah). The sky was blue. I saw the moon. It was a waxing gibbous. I used Sky Guide. With Sky Guide I saw Jupiter, The sun and stars too. From my observations the moon in Utah is similar to New York. The difference is that in New York it does not matter what time it is in the day to see the moon in Utah it sometimes matters.

  14. Today is March 9th at the time of 8:14pm. I could see the moon very clearly. It looked creepy and scary at the same time. This is because it was almost a full moon and there were translucent clouds that passed in front of it.
