Moon Blog March 10th

Today marks the twelfth day of our moon phase blog. You will be expected to:

  • go outside to view the moon
  • record your observations on my blog
  • include date, time and conditions of the sky when you observed
  • and include a fact you know or just learned about the moon or anything interesting about astronomy
  • maybe try the sky guide app

  1. Today is March 10 2017. It is 5:10pm and right now it’s very clear. When it’s usually clear I see the moon but right now it’s not very visible. Once it gets darker it will be easier to see a waxing gibbous!

  2. Today is March 10th at 5:24PM. The moon on the Sky Guide was heading East. I could not see the moon in the sky today.

  3. Tonight at 7:06 PM March 10th I saw moon it was looks a full moon,but it is a Waxing Gibbous the sky was very dark and the moon was very bright.

  4. Today at 7:42pm I saw a almost full moon. The sky was clear and was windy. I also saw some stars. There was almost nothing.

  5. Today is March 10th 7:57 P.M. The sky is clear. I saw the moon! When you see it from an angle, it’s looks like there’s one missing piece. I see a lot of stars but I don’t know what they create. According to science kids, The Moon is very hot during the day but very cold at night. The average surface temperature of the Moon is 107 degrees Celsius during the day and -153 degrees Celsius at night.

  6. Today is Friday March-10 8:30 pm, the it was a Waxing Gibbous moon.The moon moves east at 12 degrees each day.

  7. Today is 3/10/17 at 7:43 PM. The moon is really big quarter moon. The sky was mostly clear, but a little bit of clouds.

  8. Tonight at 7:06 PM March 10th 2017. I saw the moon it was Gibbous Waxing moon. The sky was a dark navy blue.

  9. Today March 10th at 9:10pm. The sky was dark and cloudy. I saw the moon it was almost a full moon. I could not tell but I think it has to have more time to get a full moon. The moon was very bright and I saw stars and constellations.

  10. Today is March 10th at 7:50pm. The moon was a full moon, and it looked beautiful. I learned that 49 moons would fit into the Earth.

  11. Today is March 10th at 8:02pm and the moon is a Waxing Gibbous, almost a full moon! It looks like a egg. Although research is continuing, most scientists agree that the Moon features small amounts of water. The Moon is very hot during the day but very cold at night. The usual surface temperature of the Moon is 107 degrees Celsius during the day and -153 degrees Celsius at night.

  12. Today is March 10 at 6:00 pm. The moon was a Waxing Gibbous. It lit up the sky it was so bright. I saw one star in the sky.
