Drilling Holes

We can’t just put the circuit in the pipes. There wouldn’t be a way for the light to shine through or a way to turn it on! That is why in our technology room we have drill presses. Our drill press that creates a bigger hole is the exact same size of the lightbulb, so that is the hole we put the lightbulb in. When you drill into the PVC pipe the machine looks like it is easy to drill a hole and is really satisfying. The other drill press makes a hole the exact same size as the switch. You also drill a hole that size and now you are done with all of the elements of the flashlight. Yay!
