1st Time Using Spheros

At school we used Spheros for the first time. Spheros are these little circular robots that are programmed by an app on IPads. At first we had to watch a video on how to program Spheros. Then we got to use them. The first thing me and my partner David did was we drove it around and changed the color of the Sphero. Then we started to program. We programmed the Sphero to jump, do figure eights, make a square, make a circle, and also we made it auto drive which means the Sphero drove by itself and if it bumped into something it would go the other direction. Then Mrs. Pavia (our teacher) gave us a task which was to program our Sphero to go from one side of the rectangle to the other side (the rectangle was painted on the ground). It took David and I many attempts, But we finally got it done. We set the Sphero to 150 speed and made it go for two seconds. From now on we will be using Spheros every D day. Using Spheros for the first time was super fun and I can’t wait until we use the again.sphero-sprk-edition-close-up-e1438639595139

Alex’s dad was my favorite because he did investing. Investing was my favorite because my class got to invest different company’s. The company I invested was Mcdonald’s and my group totally changed the company. We got a deal for 42 million dollars. We won because we got the best deal. It was awesome that we got to come up with our own ideas which could be anything and we came up with some crazy ideas like put iPad’s as menus. Also we made a YouTube channel to show how we make are food. (This is all fake none of this actually happened in the real world.) Other groups when up and did not get a better deal then my group but it does not matter. So that is everything that happened.

    I liked Bora’s dad because we learned about mountains. I really liked the video we watched it is about the first people that climbed the himalyas. It was very to learn about there adventure. It was amazing how those group of guys climbed the himalyas the most dangerous mountain of all the mountains. I also learned that mount everest is not the biggest mountain. These group of people had to go climb on the himalyas twice. But the second time they made it to the top. The first time they did not make it to the top is because it was getting close to night time. So they did not want to go to the top because they did not want to sleep at the top of the mountain because it was to cold. Mountain climbing is very dangerous because a lot of different things can happen to you like falling or feeling nauseous or dehydrated.
I liked Abby’s mom. She was my favorite because of the video she showed us it was very funny that is why I liked it so much. The video was a clip from a movie called my cousin vinny it was funny because there was a lawyer defending his cousins, he is defending because people think that they went into a store with a gun and killed the owner of the store. (but it was not true) The funny thing about it is how he framed the people like for example a old women thought she saw to boys walking into a store with a gun and then he went 5 feet back and pointed to the old women 2 fingers and she thought it was five so that was proof that she did not see the boys. Well that is why I liked Abby’s mom the most.

Philly Trip

At the Philadelphia trip we went to so many different place and I loved all of them. My favorite monument was Ben Franklin’s grave because I could not believe people actually throw penny’s on his grave. We also went to the same place that George Washington was and John Adams. I also saw this very cool old chairs and tables that were original and if you touch it will fall. I also liked when we watched show about how the world has changed through out the years. The ride was three hours on the coach bus.

What Do I Think About Trump’s Win

I think that Donald Trump will have some up and some downs. One down I am worried about is the taxes. He will lower the taxes which will be bad for our military because all of our taxes go to them. One thing I think he will do well is keeping the terrorists out because he is not going to let Muslims in this country and he is going to get us more jobs. Trump is also going to build a wall and make mexico pay for it. I think by Trump forcing Mexico to pay for the wall might cause a war. But I am hoping that won’t happen and Mexico will realize that we have a stronger army.
