on today I lost my wire design. I had to start over, but I got up to the double sided tape. Yesterday I soldered my old design, but I was very annoyed today because I lost it. I searched and searched and I couldn’t find it. But Mr Calvert says the second time is better.
i finally finished.
on Today I am ready to solder. I completed the Vectonater design and I completed my wire parts. I also double sided taped them to the printed paper. My first design I just a letter M for my fist initial. It was a bit easy because it only has straight lines in it.
on We learned about how we are going to make the circle soldering things. We used Vectornator to make our designs. We leaned how to make our lines strain and how to use the rubber band thing to curve the letter. After that I printed the design and it looked cool.
on We learned about safety in tech class today. It was honestly kind of scary. We learned about how we shouldn’t use any of the machines if we haven’t learned how to. We also learned how we should not run because someone or yourself could get hurt. You should think before you do anything and you need to plan what you are going to do before you do anything. Overall, your need to be careful about what you are doing.
on Today we learned about how the battery would explode if you poked a hole in it. The Zinc goes from the Cathode side to the Anode side. The Zinc becomes positive and a ion, and the Copper became negative because of the extra electrons. Then the Zinc side starts to break and when the Zinc and Copper mix, then batteries explode.
on So once in the summer, I was watching this video called “Best inventions that actually exist.” So one of the inventions in the video was this thing about a car with a self turning steering wheel. I thought it was really cool because if you are a beginner at driving and you accidentally step on the lane do dividers, then it will quickly force the steering wheel back into the lane. I think this is a great invention because it is a safety invention, and it probably saved and will save many lives from car accidents. That’s why I think that this is a great invention.
