The Super Weird Annie Rehearsal!

I wiggled, jiggled, and squirmed SO much in my seat backstage! My servant scene was almost coming up and I was Mrs. Pugh! “When is it my turn?!” I can’t sit still because I’m too excited!

Ten minutes until my scene… Five minutes until my scene… One minute until my scene! I’ve been counting down the minutes and that’s how excited I am!

Finally, a junior director got up. “Servants, time to shine!” Drew played another servant, but he didn’t hear the junior director!

He quietly snuck out his phone from his bag and didn’t pay attention so he started playing fortnite! He also forgot to get dressed in his costume and he had a lot of parts to it! Everyone got on stage and then a few minutes later he realized that we were doing the servant part without him!

He rushed to get his really tricky costume on and he was SO late! Finally Drew finished getting his hat, his two layered shirt, and his bow tie on. Did you notice that I didn’t say he finished putting his pants on? Well, I didn’t say that! He was in such a big rush! While he just finished getting his hat on he started ripping his pants on until… “Drew! Go on stage, now!” That junior director sounded really mad!

Everyone on stage was wondering where Drew was! I don’t know about everyone else but I was really curious about Drew! I had to know what he was doing. “Where is Drew and what is he doing?!” I thought, SO curious to know.

But then, my question was kind of answered because Drew quickly trotted on stage with his pants down to his ankles! You may wonder the same thing as me, “Why did he not pull his pants up!” While he trotted to his spot on stage the whole entire audience was hysterically laughing, but the people on stage were just acting normal. I could tell that Drew was SOOO embarrassed by the look on his face! His face was as red as fire, he was super pale and he looked like he was about to cry, but he held it in! I noticed that he didn’t know what was going on for a second, but then he finally realized that his pants were down. He zipped them back up. The audiences’ voices died down and suddenly, they stopped. The rest of the show went perfectly and Drew probably learned his lesson to pay attention. Wow, that was a blast!
