Next step in NY explorers project

A few days ago in the process of my project, we were having trouble with our research questions and we had to keep changing our research questions because we weren’t getting any good puzzle pieces. This is a little frustrating, but right now I think we have a good research question because we are getting a lot done.

Once we actually figured out a good question, it was easier for me because I was getting a lot of research. This is a fun process because when I get a lot of research for the question, it is more fun for me.

But the whole process was kind of difficult. At first we were having a little trouble finding our first question, but when we found one, we were getting a little research done, but then we realized that our questions were too small, so we had to make new ones, and then our new questions weren’t good enough so we had to keep changing them, but right now, we are getting a lot off of our new question.

Maybe it is just because the Hudson River is huge, so it is hard to decide what to research about. Also, it is hard having the patience with our questions. But other than that, this is fun!

Thank you for reading my blog post!

The Cultural Universals of Hungary

In my project, I studied the Cultural Universals of Hungary. I did research from various websites. I researched about politics, cultural arts, social aspects, beliefs, and economics. Finding pictures and making my script for recording was challenging. It was fun to research about my ancestors’ home land and then making it into my own slideshow. Also, It was fun to record my voice into the video. I hope you enjoy my slideshow!

My Expert Book – Random Farms Acting Class

My book is about an acting class that I go to. It is called “Random Farms Acting Class” One thing that I enjoyed about making my book is working on my pictures and finding pictures that match my writing. I also enjoyed making links fo the Glossary and Table of Contents. One thing I thought was challenging was typing a lot of chapters and words into my book. You can learn about what to expect at Random Farms and fun games in my book. In my book you will also learn the stages of Random Farms. For example, The Audition and The Show. I hope you enjoy reading my book!

Thanks for reading!

Organizing Our Work

I believe it is very important to organize work. In my opinion piece, I shared my reasons, which are that organizing work is important because you can lose important work. It can teach kids that when they grow up they will be organized and they won’t lose stuff and the custodians will have to clean your work up. It would be great if more people clean up.

In my project, I created a screencastify that shared my opinion piece. It was a very fun project, but it was a little challenging. I liked picking pictures and recording my opinion piece. What was challenging was that I had to record over and over and I kept having to change my writing and then record again. I hope you watch my slideshow and agree that we should organize our work!

The Super Weird Annie Rehearsal!

I wiggled, jiggled, and squirmed SO much in my seat backstage! My servant scene was almost coming up and I was Mrs. Pugh! “When is it my turn?!” I can’t sit still because I’m too excited!

Ten minutes until my scene… Five minutes until my scene… One minute until my scene! I’ve been counting down the minutes and that’s how excited I am!

Finally, a junior director got up. “Servants, time to shine!” Drew played another servant, but he didn’t hear the junior director!

He quietly snuck out his phone from his bag and didn’t pay attention so he started playing fortnite! He also forgot to get dressed in his costume and he had a lot of parts to it! Everyone got on stage and then a few minutes later he realized that we were doing the servant part without him!

He rushed to get his really tricky costume on and he was SO late! Finally Drew finished getting his hat, his two layered shirt, and his bow tie on. Did you notice that I didn’t say he finished putting his pants on? Well, I didn’t say that! He was in such a big rush! While he just finished getting his hat on he started ripping his pants on until… “Drew! Go on stage, now!” That junior director sounded really mad!

Everyone on stage was wondering where Drew was! I don’t know about everyone else but I was really curious about Drew! I had to know what he was doing. “Where is Drew and what is he doing?!” I thought, SO curious to know.

But then, my question was kind of answered because Drew quickly trotted on stage with his pants down to his ankles! You may wonder the same thing as me, “Why did he not pull his pants up!” While he trotted to his spot on stage the whole entire audience was hysterically laughing, but the people on stage were just acting normal. I could tell that Drew was SOOO embarrassed by the look on his face! His face was as red as fire, he was super pale and he looked like he was about to cry, but he held it in! I noticed that he didn’t know what was going on for a second, but then he finally realized that his pants were down. He zipped them back up. The audiences’ voices died down and suddenly, they stopped. The rest of the show went perfectly and Drew probably learned his lesson to pay attention. Wow, that was a blast!
