In tech we have started our designs and we have been cutting woods. At first I thought I only needed 5 pieces of wood, but actually I only needed 3 pieces. The dimensions of the wood of 3 inches high and 36 inches long. I am making a box to keep signed balls in and I have cut basically everything.
In tech we have been learning about joints and make our project designs on a website called Tinker cad. It is a reall good website and its really fun to make our designs.
Today I’m going to talk about video games. My favorite video games are Fortnite, Rocket League, and madden . Fortnite is a gun game but its is on a map with 100 people and you need to kill people to win. Rocket league is a game where you a car and you play soccer. There are other game modes like Hoops, and Hockey. Madden is just Football.
Something I like about tech is building things. Whether there bird houses or something bigger they’re always fun. I always have troubles at first. Sometimes my sketch isn’t possible or I don’t have enough wood, but it is always fun in the end because i just make something else.
My photo essay is about the stuff I am doing in quarantine. I will have pictures of me and logos of apps I have been using to keep me busy. This essay is to show what my life is like.
This week I watched a video on metals and we learned about the periodic table. In the video about metal we learned about gold and how once there was fire we left the Stone Age. Then we took a 3 question google form about the video.
This week I made a electroscope. Mine sadly didn’t work but it was fun to make. I used a clear class cup then I used cardboard circle for the top and then I but the paper clip with the pieces of tinfoil inside the cup. Then rubbed the ballon on felt. It was supposed to make the tinfoil pieces spread out.
This week we had no project. We are learning about simple machines and Isaac Newton. It was very interesting and I can’t wait to see what our project it for next week.
For today I made a catapult it was really fun to make and it was really cool. I used a spoon and a pencil and then put in a book and the spoon launched the marble. I can’t for the next project.
For this project I made a cereal box on a website called fab maker studio. It’s 2d when you print, but then you cut it and fold it and it’s 3d. It was really fun. Can’t wait for next project.
