I am learning that I am a pretty good time manager and a good writer because I can write really fast and not make mistakes. Also I am good time manager because even though I don’t have a lot of bullets/notes I really make sure I pick the good info and work for about 15-25 minutes a day.
My progress is pretty good right now I have only used one resources which is History.com and I have like 12 bullets and they have really good info. I’m trying to find a way to take notes more effectively and faster. Right now I feel that my work is pretty good because even though I don’t have a lot they have really good info.
I idenfied my resources by looking at like if they are .com because .com is usually not fake. Also I chose like the ones most people use for project likes History.com. I think that the resources that will be most credible are the ones that give me info that is new and also repeats info, because then I know they are not lying. I think the resources that will be helpful are the ebook and the sites because the books always are great, but also the sites too. The reading skills I need try to improve on the the ones to know if this is fake or not fake. These apply to videos when you watch something and then Westchester a different video and it is not the Amber so basically I need to watch when I hear different info. I am using the diagram Mr. DeBerry has.
For my Passion Project I chose to do the history of the Statue of Liberty. The process for me to select this was not necessarily long, but it wasn’t quick. At first I chose basketball and I finished with written only 1 paragraph. At the time I didn’t know it needed to be a page or more. Even if I tried I would be able to do a full page. Then my dad gave me the idea of the process of the Statue of Liberty, but I knew it would only be a half of 1 page so then I thought of the history of the Statue of Liberty.
Here is my proposal
In swift playgrounds I am doing Learn to code 1. In it I have just finished functions. In the functions section at first learning to make functions was hard. Now by the end I had did finally finished it and it felt great this is what it looked like. I am proud because now I can finally start loops and I’m so happy.
I did my scratch project on soccer because I like sports and even though I don’t really play soccer I like it and I didn’t like they other options. I used sound, looks and motion blocks. I think it was really fun and excited to make more projects.
Computer programming is changing the world. We are able to do stuff we were never able to do. For example Mark Zuckerberg said it helped a lot, making it easy for him to create Facebook. Chris Bosh said his friends were laughing at him in college, but he said he told them he didn’t care and he was learn in a lot. This shows that people can be smart and do other things and it won’t make you a nerd. I think Computer Programming is great and would love to be able to do more than what I can already do.
Today I will talk to you about my bridge project. The bridge project is about that you build a bridge with your group of three but before you build and plan you have to pick your own bridge and studied and get a lot of research.When we started we talked about engineering and designing a bridge. Then we made groups of three. After that we started to work by picking our own bridge and I chose the Henry Hudson Bridge. Then we studied and took information on the Sydney Harbour Bridge in ,Sydney, Australia and we studied the Firth of Forth Bridge in Scotland. Then we found information about our own bridges. After that we had to write down our information on a google presentation but I had to share it with my group and then put a picture on one out of your three or two slides. One of my partners studied the Sydney Harbour Bridge in, Sydney Australia and my other partner’s bridge was The Aiola Bridge in, Graz Austria. But I wished that phase 2 could be planning and construction instead of phase 3. But I am still pumped for the rest of the bridge project.

After that we started painting our bridge and then we tested it. It survived and then we named it the Jurassic Portal Bridge because we put toy dinosaurs on the bridge on one side and the other we put cars and in the middle we painted a blue portal so its like you can get to both sides. Now we are doing our bridge evaluation, final reflection and then we done and we will put LED lights this was taken on 12/12/17 after we painted on our bridge. This is what we mean dinosaurs and cars. It looks really cool because it has things and it is colorful on the bridge

Hi it’s Mikey! In my classroom we are doing a lot of stuff. For example we are do in Expressions and we are writing about a book called The Rising Tiger and were writing summaries and synthesizing and chronological order. We are also learning about explorers. For example I’ve explored Leif Erickson who found what is now grapes, Giovanni Da Verrazzano who was eaten by canables and Henry Hudson who found now the Hudson River. We are leaning how to grow post -its. We are also learning how to use prompts. Prompts are like For example, I know this because, I think, L believe. We have a lot of fun in our classroom.
Hi my name is Mikey. I am nine years old. My favorite sport is baseball. My favorite team is the New York Mets. This year they have done horrible. I also like football. I love the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Tennessee Titans because they are doing pretty well this season and I love Le’veon Bell and Demarco Murray. I also like the Penguins and the Predators too. I love to ride my bike. I live in Ny, U.S.A!!!!!. I also loved to swim and I am really good. My favorite book series is the Sphdz (Spaceheadz) series. I also loved to skateboard. My favorite basketball team is the Cleveland Cavaliers. I love LEBRON JAMES!!!!!!. I can’t wait for the start of the season. I once went to Italy it was a lot of fun. I have also been on three cruises. One time I went to a Cavs and Knicks game Cavs won 90- 83 it was a good game. My birthday is in July.
