Capstone: Interview #3

A big part of research is getting info from an actual person. To do this you need to go on an interview. I wanted to interview someone with biking knowledge. I was thinking of interviewing someone at me site visit since I was going to a bike shop. But, luckily my mom has a friend that dose triathlons and iron-mans. The first step I took for my interview was to write my questions. This did not take long since I only wanted to know about her bike. Once I finished writing my questions I gave them to my mom so she could e-mail them to her friend. After a bit of waiting my mom’s friend sent a piece of paper with all the answers to my questions. I read the paper but there were still things I didn’t get. So, my mom and I face timed her to get a bit of clarity about the answers. She explained everything I didn’t get in the face time. Some cool things I learned were that some road bikes have things to rest you arms while you bike. Another thing I learned was that there is a machine that you put your bike into and you can practice biking just like at the gym or Peloton. Something that surprised me was that my interviewee goes to a track specifically designed for road biking to practice. I learned a lot from the interview and it was very helpful. That was the process  of my interview.
