Breakout in Tech! – Tech Post #2

Hi!

Just some background information…

Recently in technology class, we did this thing called “Breakout EDU.” The rules were pretty simple: the class was split into two teams, and each team had to solve puzzles to open a locked box.

(By the way, the contents of the box aren’t all that exciting. Just a bunch of safety goggles. But then again, safety goggles are pretty cool.)

Our technology teacher, Mr. Calvert, explained that we could get two hints and two hints only from him.

There was also a bonus box. Apparently, whatever was inside of it would help us with the challenge.

So, as soon as Mr. Calvert started the timer, my team scrambled to search around the room. Finally, we found our first clue! Hooray!

While a few of my classmates opened a lock, I was at work searching for more clues. And you won’t believe this, but I actually managed to find the next clue AND unhinge the next lock!

Now, I’ll have you know that I’m absolutely terrible at anything puzzle-related, so this was really exciting!

Now my group was in the lead, and so we decided to use our first clue to open the third lock.

We were the first team to find the solution, but our lock was JAMMED, and the other team got theirs off first! What horrible lock!… Get it? Luck? Lock?

(Awkward silence)

Well then! That being said, I’ll see you on my next post! Bye! 🙂
